Resident. Widespread and can be very common,
throughout the British Isles as far north as Aberdeenshire.
Montgomeryshire Status
The 2010 record
from Middletown was the first since 1988. However, since 2010 it has
been recorded on further occasions and been found to be locally common
in the east of the county.

Spinning. Eggs laid on bark. Larva lives in spun leaves and shoots and
